The African Network for Solar Energy (ANSOLE) is a platform of exchange among various stakeholders who are all devoted to promote in a concerted way the use of various renewable energy forms to address the acute energy problem in Africa while preserving and protecting the environment. The three main goals of ANSOLE are: to foster technical and vocational training and education (TVET) in renewable energy at various skill levels (capacity building); to foster research activities in renewable energy among African scientists and non-African scientists who are directly involved in the education of African students and experts (capacity building); to promote and encourage the use of renewable energy in Africa (sustainable development and economy, environmental protection, etc.)

The Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE) is the only international business association in the world focusing on the provision and promotion of small scale renewable energy solutions for rural electrification in developing and emerging markets. Based on the experience of over 70 members, coming from all sectors relevant to renewable energies in developing countries, it develops technological, political and financial recommendations, which are made available to policy makers and other actors in the field of rural electrification.

The Southern African Alternative Energy Association (SAAEA) represents and actively promotes Renewable Alternative Energy Solutions in southern African region. The organization's focus is the whole industry, rather than one sector. Wind, Solar, Biomas, Biogas, Bio Fuels, Green Products, Energy Saving, Alternative Energy, Energy from Waste, Fuel Cell Technologies etc. The SAAEA advocates policy development on behalf of its members at decision making government level. It also promotes understanding of the industry and its potential through tools such as industry events, forums, conferences, newsletters and publications. Its objective is to provide borderless access to the information that can affect today's clean energy industries as much as tomorrow's world. SAAEA members share the belief that lowering our carbon footprint is as important as the doing of business itself because they understand that every small endeavor toward a green, sustainable world makes a difference.

MESIA is the largest solar trade association in the Middle East and North Africa region. Established in 2009, the association represents over 120 international and local organizations including investors, installers, manufacturers, law firms, consultancies, policymakers and banks. Headquartered in Dubai, UAE, MESIA carries out solar-related activities and programs across the MENA region. With over 7,600 subscribers and regional coverage stretching from Egypt to Saudi Arabia, MESIA has won several prestigious awards and been recognized by leading government authorities across the MENA region. MESIA also publishes industry-leading reports which have been featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the FT.
