The Thai Retailers Association (TRA) first came into existence about 30 years ago. Known as the "Department Store Retailers Club",it was then informally organized by a small group of department store operators who realized the need to meet one another in order to exchange ideas, to cooperate with one another in time of difficulty, and to share their visions as to the development of the industry as a whole. At present, Thai Retailers Association (TRA) is operating under the policy set by the Executive Board within the framework stated in its objectives.
