The Conference Organizing Committee & Program
Advisory Board welcomes you to an outstanding event:
Global
Healthcare Congress 2009 (GHC ‘09).
This year, we will feature two dynamic themes: Crossing International
Borders and Healthcare Cities & Hospitals of the Future. These
themes will keep you in step with the pulse of the industry as it
addresses current pivotal issues as well as the next realm in healthcare
delivery and capacity building.
GHC 09 is the official conference of
the International Medical Travel Association (IMTA) and as President
of IMTA, I warmly welcome you to make plans to participate. GHC ’09
is endorsed by contemporaries in the industry as the flagship event
in Asia on Global Healthcare issues.
Attendees of GHC ‘09 will get first hand information on the
latest developments in world-wide healthcare destinations and learn
what the leaders of healthcare organizations are doing to grow. Attendees
will discuss what hospital and providers are doing to deliver healthcare
to the foreign patients and how they are building quality and capacity
to ensure access for the growing patient pool. Take the opportunity
to listen and learn from each other the What, How, When and Where
of emerging models of international healthcare. Over four
days of workshop and conference proceedings, you will hear
from a CEO level panel of presenters: obtain perspectives from the
spectrum of providers, payers, facilitators, investors, insurers,
healthcare departments and public policy makers.
We strongly encourage you and your senior staff to attend this global
event held in Asia - We want your inputs and participation.
We hope to be able to work in tandem with you and building meaningful
alliances & long term partnerships. Do expect much lively discussions
at the conference, workshops, CEO panels and the various networking
exchanges at GHC ‘09. Earlier this year, we held a highly successful
congress at Medical Travel World Congress 2008. At that event, leading
players in the global healthcare arena freely shared their insights
on issues toward charting the industry forward concerning patients,
resources and institutions crossing international borders. The event
is now re-branded to “Global Healthcare Congress” which
closely parallels what is happening in the industry today. With the
2 dynamic themes of Crossing International Borders and Healthcare
Cities & Hospitals of the Future, we look forward to a very engaging
and fruitful time of exchange again. Trust you will join us this time.
As we all continue our work moving quality affordable healthcare
across international borders, GHC ’09 becomes a critical forum
for building strength in our industry. I believe that both
your annual attendance and participation in this event is a must for
anyone involved in medical travel. Only through global events such
as this can we improve our business and improve patient care at the
very same time.
