Özcan Ermiş

Özcan Ermiş was born in Turkey in 1970. BA Mechanical Engineering, MBA. Started his career in marketing in 1992 in automobile business, in 1995 shifted to telecommunications. Worked for Rumeli Telekom, Telsim (Marketing Director since 2003), Vodafone Turkey (Sales & Marketing Director since 2004). Since 2006 works in Ukraine as Individual Sales and Marketing Director of the third national mobile services operator life:). At life:) Mr. Ermiş managed to reach remarkable growth of subscriber base and is responsible for ARPU growth and profitability enhancement. Özcan Ermiş is a member of GSMA – Strategies and Marketing Group, Turkish Association of Mechanical Engineers, Association of Alumni of Bosphorus University.

Mr.Helbich began his career in the telecommunication sector related with business activities in Eastern European and CIS countries more than seventeen years. He developed his profile in the area of Telecommunication Test Equipment holding a position of Sales Manager for Eastern European countries. Later, he joined a European telecommunication infrastructure supplier and was in charge of Sales and Project Management in various European and CIS countries. During this period, he actively participated in establishment and development of telecommunication infrastructure of countries such as Azerbaijan, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Belorussia, and Turkmenistan. Mr. Helbich held the position of Deputy General Director and Chief Operating Officer in Azerfon LLC prior to his new appointment.

Stephanie Jackson is a versatile marketer with 12 years experience in telecoms, 15 years in marketing and operations and an MBA from York University in Toronto. She began her career at American Express where she learned the importance of customer insights and data management. She developed her first specialization in Customer CRM and Loyalty and then broadened her exposure to customer growth and business developmnent, building compelling Market Propositions, Brands and Marketing Communications. Currently she leads a team developing products and channels online, mobile internet propositions and mobile advertising channels.

Ian Mullins is the CEO of Yamgo Ltd, a TV to mobile technology provider and mobile TV publisher. Ian has over eight years experience in the mobile industry and is heading Yamgo’s development team to create a global mobile TV network enabling companies to deliver live TV and video on demand to consumers and providing marketers with targeted channel sponsorship and pre-roll mobile TV advertising spots. Prior to Yamgo Ian was a Director for www.thegamesarcade.com, a mobile games retailer where he developed a games portal delivering over 1000 games in 40 countries. Ian began his career as an Investment Analyst for Talisman House in London before moving into IT strategy consultancy for Engage Energy in Calgary, Canada and then Morse Plc in London focusing on mobile technology solutions. Ian holds an MSc in IT and Data Communications and a BSc in Business and Finance. Ian is passionate about mobile entertainment and is an extreme air sports athlete, enjoying Paragliding, Skydiving, BASE Jumping and Parajumping.

In ’99 he worked with Orange at a strategic level he helped deliver their ambitious "Orange World" multi-channel lifestyle services project and in 2002 also worked with Vodafone to help design and deliver the “Vodafone live!” service. Romi was also the founder of Savvy Mobile, a UK based provider of innovative and compelling media content for mobile devices, specialising in unique areas such as Bollywood, South Asian and Glamour content.

Sergey Smolovik is Head of projects of Strategy Department at OJSC “MegaFon”, one of the "big 3" mobile operators in Russia. He is responsible for managing strategic projects such as comprehensive corporate strategy development, FMC/FMS strategy, new business opportunities evaluation. Previously, he worked as a senior technical expert at OJSC “Mobile TeleSystems” (NYSE:MBT) where he was responsible for developing mobile operator technical strategy. Sergey has PhD in mobile telecommunications from Moscow Power Engineering University and master’s degree from Coventry University, UK.

Mr. Rudolf Strohmeier, born 1952 in Würzburg (Germany), lawyer and economist by education, is living with his family in Brussels for more than 20 years. After establishing the Bavarian information office in Brussels he joined the European Commission in 1987. Serving in many Cabinets and becoming a director in 2004, he is working now as the Head of the private office of the Luxemburgish Commissioner Viviane Reding responsible for Information Society and Media.

He has been working in the telco industry for 10 years. First he joined Czech Telecom. Later he became consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, later with IBM Global Business Services. He has been the Chief Strategy Officer of Telefonica O2 Slovakia since February 2008.
