Turkish Fruit Juice Industry Association (MEYED) has been established in 1993 in order to bring the companies in the Turkish fruit juice industry together under the same roof. As the only representative of the industry, MEYED has 43 members, including 35 producer and 8 supporter/ supplier companies. From the first day of its foundation, MEYED has brought industry's stakeholders from the areas of agriculture, food processing and health, expert academicians and the professionals from the industry together in order to put forward solutions for the common issues and contribute to the development of the industry.

China Chamber of Juice of CFNA is a national non-profit industry organization with over 120 member enterprises specialized in juice business sector in China, including juice manufacturers, exporters & importers and experts, mainly on juice concentrated and puree. It accounts for 95% of the total export volume of Chinese juice. We are dedicated to setting up a all-level platform to facilitate juice trade between China and the rest of the world by providing up-to-date industry information, coordinating production and trade, organizing industry conferences, making international exchanges and attending vital domestic and international trade expo. The Arab Beverages Association (for non alcoholic) is a non-profit organization which is founded by industrialists and producers of dairy products, juices, carbonated drinks and mineral water in the Arab world. Recently the ABA has joined the Arab Federation for Food Industries which is a part of Arab League to represent its committee for juices, soft drinks and mineral water. The Association aims to develop and improve the level of the beverage industry in the Arab world and through the coordination and ongoing work with the unions, chambers of commerce and industrial bodies, the Arab and international organizations.

The focus of the ABA efforts is to protect the beverage industry and promote its image in view of the rapidly evolving global economic changes, to create global alliances to provide platforms for information exchange and to promote effective communication and good relations within the group, to provide training and consulting services in addition to educational opportunities through the establishment of workshops and annual meetings.

Also the ABA is always looking to the constructive cooperation between the private and public sectors to solve the problems and constraints of the beverage industry in the Arab world for its benefit and its growth.



Russian Union of Juice Producers (RSPS) was founded in October of 1999 with a view to consolidate the juice industry in Russia. At present RSPS unites 25 companies working at market of juice products and packaging materials.

Natalia Ivanova heads the Union since 2009. Main direction of RSPS activities is to consolidate efforts of Russian leading juice producing companies directed to increase the consumption of juices and nectars and healthy lifestyles promotion. RSPS provides the legal advice to juice market participants mainly directed to support the national juice producers, participates in the working out and expertise of draft laws concerning juice industry. Union's experts took active part in the working out of the Federal Law of 27/10/2008 №178 "Technical regulations on Fruit and Vegetable Juice Products". At present RSPS actively participates in the work over Technical Regulations and other normative documents of newly formed Customs Union and EurAsEC.

A lot of attention is paid to communications with national and international organizations to develop Russian juice marke, as well as to planning, organization and carrying out research in the field of production and consumption of juice products.

Annually Russian Union of Juice Producers makes expert estimation of Russian juice market its results are announced in February at International conference of juice producers "Juice World". In 2012 this event takes place in St. Petersburg on 29, February.

CitrusBR is the Brazilian Association of Citrus Exporters, founded in June 2009 by the biggest Brazilian producers and exporters of citrus juices and derivatives: Cutrale, Citrosuco-Fischer Group, Citrovita-Votorantim Group, and Louis Dreyfus Commodities.

Its main objective is to defend the collective aims of citrus exporters in both the national and international extents by monitoring trade issues, combating trade barriers, acting in pursuit of institutional interests, supporting technical studies to find solutions and alternatives for sector-related problems, interacting with other agribusiness entities, promoting orange juice consumption and, most importantly, promoting the sector's image by disclosing updated, clear and reliable information.

SGF: these three letters stand for one of the major international branch associations of the fruit juice industry, with a wide range of services for manufacturers of both finished and semi-finished goods, traders/brokers and for member companies of neighbouring industries. The SGF offers a concentrated wealth of experience, market knowledge and technical know-how.

SGF stands for Sure, Global, Fair. Our aim is to make a major contribution to a globally sure and fair fruit juice market in the interests of our members and consumers, and to be an internationally acknowledged service provider for the fruit juice branch.

In order to achieve these objectives, the SGF runs the Voluntary Control System (VCS) with monitoring activities covering all levels of production and trading from the fruit via fruit processors, storage and blending stations, raw materials traders and transport companies through to bottlers and retail companies because monitoring is the basis of a functioning quality assurance system. The controls extend to fruit and vegetable juices, nectars and fruit juice beverages, together with all corresponding raw materials from all market participants. When deviations in quality are ascertained, the necessary corrective actions are taken to eliminate the danger of a recurrence, in cooperation with the affected companies.

The EQCS is the independent umbrella association of industrial self-control systems for local market and packer control in the European Union and candidate countries. With its activities EQCS contributes to the safety and quality of fruit juices, nectars and fruit juice drinks and to fair competition in the markets. The object of the international non-profit association is to harmonise within the European Union and candidate country markets the work and control activities of market and packer control systems and to support fruit juice manufacturers in complying with legal and industrial standards for due diligence.
